Subject: Quick Monday PM Update

This is going to be quick because I’m too tired to do the story justice.  The past 2 days have been amazing.  You already heard about the worship last night.  We had a great worship and prayer session tonight.  All I can say is God is good and blessing us more than we ever could have imagined.

I’ll write up more fully when I’m not so tiered.

We have no material updates on the medical front other than she had a successful Spinal Tap/Lumbar Puncture today and expect some results tomorrow.  They can’t get the PET scan done at hospital we are at because they use a mobile unit which is only there Wednesdays and Saturdays.  Wednesday is oversold.  So they are discharging her today and we are trying to get her scheduled for the PET scan tomorrow afternoon and Jewish Hospital or Wednesday and US Medical Center.

We should know more after morning rounds when we see the Neurologist and her GP.

Climb - Will Reagan

I lean not on my own understanding
My life is in the hands of the Maker of Heaven
I give it all to You, God
Trusting that You’ll make something beautiful out of me
I will climb this mountain with my hands wide open
There’s nothing I hold onto
If I had to choose one song that symbolized this journey and brought us the most comfort it would be this one. It was a constant in our lives since Janet brought it to us in the hospital back in May of 2016. I will forever think of this as Maura's anthem as it so clearly represents her approach to cancer and life in general
